Welcome! I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at McGill University in Montréal, QC, a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a Research Fellow at RF Berlin. I can be reached via email at maggie.ec.jones [at] gmail.com.
My research areas include history, labour, and education. I use tools from these disciplines to better understand the persistence of socioeconomic inequalities between groups in North America.
